Lake George

6x6 Oil on Board
SOLD
It was a beautiful drive out to Lake George, but the husband would not stop to let me take photos.
The best I could do was oncoming traffic.

I dragged my husband up to the mountain Tuesday afternoon to take pictures of the Mountain Laurel, and I had to take some motion shots as well! He's pretty good about it though, especially as many times as I make him stop!
I love this - the colors are fantastic!

That made me laugh! If artist stopped everytime inspiration struck them, would they get anywhere? Beautiful painting.

I have loads of road shots for the same reason. I would say you made the best out of the situation. Great truck and love the brushwork Karen.

Karen, I love this truck painting! What a great job, considering this was from oncoming traffic! I experience the same photography challenges, and just do the best I can from the passenger side window.I understand!

No one ever made a semi look so amazing. Beautiful job on perspective too, Karen.

Beautiful Karen! I love the light, the brushwork, and all the pink! An unusual color in a truck painting, and it really works!

I often take photos out the window when my husband and I are traveling. Sometimes they're good and usable and sometimes they're not! I switch my camera to the fast motion spot, that seems to help! Great loose brushwork as always.

Karen, I think you have a magic brush. Your ability to take the mundane and turn it into something gorgeous is amazing. Everything about this painting . . . the composition, interesting perspective, the light, and oh the color is ... BRILLIANT!
