Morning Haunt

10x8 Oil on Canvas
SOLD
Here we are back in the graveyard again. This time I painted the markers because they were backlit and with the morning light they had a bit of a glow.

Hi Karen,

This is cool. A strange combo of sunny and ominous.

Great painting.
Take care,

Barbara

This is really wonderful Karen. I love the beauty in the somewhat eerie setting. Those quick strokes really give it an ethereal atmosphere. I like the way you chose the pure blue for the markers rather than a more somber tone. Lots of emotion here!

Beautiful job, Karen, you made what could easily be a very somber subject more upbeat. Well done.

I often admire the quiet beauty of cemeteries, a place where loved ones are commemorated. they are also a reminder of the brevity of life. Neat topic here Karen, and excellently done, too!
