I love the telegraph poles and wires in this Karen. I think many artists would have been tempted to leave them out but it gives such a wonderful feeling of being a 'real place'.

Now, that looks cold! Is that a Sandy aftermath?

Beautiful job, Karen and it has those unique Bruson colors.

Love your colour palette as Carol said they are unique to you. Which blue do you favour most?

The greens, blues, and purples keep drawing me into this piece. Reminds me of some of our drives through some of the teeny rural towns out this way. Beautiful job, Karen.

That's interesting that you use paper, canvas, adn linen supports for your oil painting, each with slightly different effects. Does the mood you want to convey figure into what surface you choose? I like your style with the brush, it's very expressive!

Karen, this is so marvelous! I like all that sky. I am partial to cityscapes and your last two posts are just fab.

Thanks for the tip of using phalo-blue Karen, have been trying it out in my last painting.
