I wish I knew the story behind this painting. It's a wonderful portrait, capturing your subject in action. The flow of your brushstrokes helps to create the movement and lifelike quality. It's so much more personal than the typical 'say cheese' portrait. Great work!

Wow! Another awesome piece, Karen. For some reason, I was reminded of the days (which truly were before my time) when people used to get ice delivered to their homes, probably for ice boxes.
