Alpaca

6x6 Oil on Panel
SOLD
Down the road from my house is an Alpaca Farm.
The owner invited me over to paint. These animals are really comical; almost cartoon like.

So adorable Karen! I wish I could paint with such energy and style with each brushstroke. And of course your palette is so full of colour and life. Your paintings are always an inspiration to me.

You captured the personality of this alpaca. When on BI, RI for vacation there is an alpaca farm that I love to visit every day... They always make me laugh.

I have a friend who paints llamas. Her paintings are llama portraits; yours is an alpaca portrait. So much personality and done in your very distinctive and wonderful style!

What a funny face, I bet you enjoyed painting him. Love all the colors you have used in his fur.

The Alpaca's unexpected "Mona Lisa" smile completes this endearing portrait.
