Farm Truck

12x12 Oil on Board
SOLD
I live in a small farming town, so this is a common scene.
I've been painting a bit larger, lately.

Oh, lovely. Memories. That's an old truck...

I live in a very small place too, out here on the coast. the sense of community among artists out here and on the web is amazing. Thanks for another pleasant painting, Karen - I always look forward to your work. May the god of sales and money smile upon your brush always! And may you always capture such bright light and time-stop moments in your work. You are doing a very good job for us all - our worlds are decorated like the houses of past kings! Long live the internets.

take care -
PG

Karen,
This has a wonderful feeling of just passing the farm truck on the road. I live in a somewhat rural area also in Georgia and just love this. Wonderful composition and the colors are just perfect.

Love your color and style!! Very nice work. I used to drive a truck like the one you painted ... except the doors were missing. Very scary on the freeway. So glad to have discovered your blog!

Love the feel of early morning light on the side of the truck and that great blue/green grill. Not surprised that this one's already sold! CONGRATS!

Karen, I have not visited your blog in awhile. Your work has grown trememdously. I love your earlier work, but your recent paintings are spectacular. I especially like this one, just stunning!
