Excellent work. As always, thanks for sharing it. As a person who lives in a world of words most of the time, I find it quite refreshing to have your work pop up in the Reader thing with my morning coffee. The light and colour in your paintings is a real pleasure, even over this little screen. I'm amazed at your productivity! I think it takes some courage as well as energy, to go ahead and do that. So thanks again - you help make the web a better and more decorative place for us all.

Goodness, what did you do over the holidays? Whatever it was, your painting has stepped up a notch and it was kinda great to begin with!
This is really gorgeous. The skintones, the brushstrokes, the edges, the vibrancy of it all, just wonderful.

Karen - I wanted to leave you a thank you email for commenting on my work - but don't see an email address. So thank you. Your comments are appreciated. Anyway, I am loving your portraits, esp. this one, and it has everything to do with painting back into the hair with the negative shapes. Sooo good!
