General Store

5x7 Oil on Board
SOLD
Setting up in front of our general store seemed like a great idea until lunchtime. Truck after truck parked in front of me blocking my view. Even wearing a huge floppy hat and covered in hot pink paint, no one seemed to noticed me. Good thing I didn't pass out from the intense heat. I would still be there.

Glad you survived the heat and the trucks, this is another great one with your signature brushstrokes and palette!

Love all of the whites, blues and pale greens and hot pinks in this one! Particularly that part of the roof that is the most fantastic soft green with the pink/red showing through. Definitely one of my all time favorites!

Hi, Karen,

I'm really enjoying your work. Your pastel pallet is juxtaposed so nicely with the strong darks and your loose style is terrific.
