Hey Karen. Nice to see those 'water splashes' you told me about. The waves breaking on the rocks impart a real energy to the painting, so deftly done. I'm lovin that deep red on the buildings too.
Hi Karen, Wonderful colors. Are you familiar with a Maine painter named Colin Page? Check out colinpagepainting.com, or google him. Great website and a blog under "journal" through his site. He has a very similar use of bold bright colors. Lovely work. Enjoy summer!

You certainly created sense of the ocean hitting the rocks and made it as interesting as the lighthouse. The colors in the are just wonderful.
Love the lighthouse, Karen - wonderful movement in ihe waves.

Very special, Karen! Hope you do very well with the auction! It is so much livelier than my own lighthouse about two weeks ago!
If this is your "practice round", can't wait to see the real thing. Great color, as always, and lots of movement and life in the design.
Good luck with the upcoming auction!!! this one is exciting and energetic!

A lot of movement in the water. Looks good.
I especially like the way the ocean and the lighthouse are painted. Great colors.
