Pam, I really had trouble photographing this painting. My whole house is one big glare. The painting is a bit more saturated in actuality. The sky is greenish in life and the buildings have purple hues. I have been using cad yellow light, cad lemon, alizarin, cad red medium, ultramarine blue and thalo blue.

You are quite a magician with light and the atmosphere you create in your paintings with it. r.
Another fabulous painting. Love those colors, as always.
Your paintings blow me away! This is really wonderful...and in such a small space, great job!
You are so versatile. Every subject is great. What is your palette? Your colors are so vibrant and alive!

Karen, thanks. That's a great palette; a warm & cool of each of the primaries. Your colors are always so vibrant!
Hi Karen,
Wonderful light and mood in this one.
Take care,

Another wonderful painting, Karen. Great colors and atmosphere.
Your paintings have such soft, expressive colors with wonderful compositions. All well done!
Your loose and impressionistic style is a real inspiration. Have enjoyed your blog and I have left a Kreative Blogger Award for you on my site.
